Kris Zahn
Kris has spent her entire life involved in sports and body work. She was fortunate enough to be able to turn that passion into a career as a professional bowler. Along the way she also found her management and organization skills to enhance her positions as owner of her own bowling center and manager of/consultant to others, as well as Assistant Director of Admissions at Peirce Junior College in Philadelphia, PA, and National Director of High School Bowling. Under her guidance, high school bowling became the fastest growing high school sport in the country.
Never one for a loss of words, being the Color Analyst for the Ladies Pro Bowlers Tour on ESPN was “right up her alley!” (YIKES! Couldn’t resist!)
She was a dedicated gym rat until she was introduced to pilates in 1994 at Canyon Ranch in Tucson, AZ. Strengthening and stretching all rolled into one exercise modality was a gift from the heavens! But it wasn’t until 2008 that she dove into training and became certified and opened her own pilates studio. Barre certification and the (fascia) LifeStretch certifications are also in her training history. She recently sold Pilates Tempe to focus on reaching out to everyone interested in learning more about health and wellness.
Her philosophy that EVERY BODY needs to MOVE is best served through pilates after having tried just about every exercise modality available. It has enabled her to continue to remain strong and flexible as the years have passed when other modalities are no longer available to her aging body. She believes satisfying quality of life can be achieved and is available to everyone!
Kimra Zadik
Kimra found her passion for pilates in 2003 after taking her first reformer class at Life Time Fitness with her dear friend and mentor, Sheila Jarvis. Impressed by the physical changes she saw in her body, she embarked on learning more and was certified by Power Pilates in 2007. Starting her Pilates career teaching at Life Time Fitness Scottsdale in 2008.
In 2015 she attended her first Naam Yoga class in at the AZ Naam Yoga Center in Mesa, AZ taught by her dear friend and mentor, Nicole Coyle. It was love at first class! Instantly she felt the powerful healing benefit of using sound vibration…music, movement, meditation, mudra, mantra and breath work…magical! By 2016 she was certified and started sharing the power of vibration!
Kimra has found that having a daily practice of just a little Pilates, yoga, breath work and meditation to have such a positive impact on her body and mind and truly loves exploring the many ways to practice, experience and share these joys.
